IFK Viksjö's Ola Hammarberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Frisck in the 23rd minute of play. Jerry Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Åmsele RK's Ola Hammarberg threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kurt Frisck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The wind increased when Tom Dahlberg made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Kurt Frisck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åmsele RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Frisck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ola Hammarberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tom Dahlberg charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Dahlberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
