Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgar Ahlberg kicked off to start the match. Conny Apelqvist hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Mullsjö's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Söder came free, but Östen Deckbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conny Apelqvist's late challenge caught a Björna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conny Apelqvist helped the player get up and apologised. Ivan Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Ahlberg in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Björna got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Vallin. Ivan Mellin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Överman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Edgar Ahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mullsjö's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Ahlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Mellin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Ahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Valdemar Löfgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Björna's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Överman came free, but Ivan Mellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roger Klint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erling Söder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ian Överman took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Ivan Mellin to make any attempt to save it. Mullsjö's Ian Överman got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Björna getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hubert Vallin hit a great ball. Edgar Ahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ivan Mellin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erling Söder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Östen Deckbergh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Björna booed when Mullsjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Söderqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Larsfält, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 74 played minutes Björna got a freekick which was hit by Börge Göransson. Edgar Ahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Mellin having to interfere. Ivan Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Ahlberg in the 79th minute of play. If Ian Överman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes Edgar Ahlberg rounded Björna's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Mullsjö's Ian Överman got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Överman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 97 minutes into the match, Mullsjö's Ian Överman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Mellin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Mullsjö left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Björna.
