Mark Spetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Torbjörn Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Melberg in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernst Blanck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hargs IK's Birger Lövskog got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Lucas Jelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd match minute, Ferro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Ennegren to maneuver through the defense. Birger Lövskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 49th minute of the match, Jack Melberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ernst Blanck saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jack Melberg made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Hargs IK got a corner. Ferro IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tor Engman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hargs IK's Tor Engman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ernst Blanck in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ferro IF's Ernst Blanck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Melberg in the 60th minute of play. If Jack Melberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Ennegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hargs IK's zone, Mark Spetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torbjörn Strömberg came out of the goal and Mark Spetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils-Erik Alström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Högström hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Birger Lövskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Erik Alström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Hargs IK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
