After 50 minutes of play, Rockneby's Ola Åström made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Stig Hermansson made the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes, Tage Pihlwall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockneby and the Bagarmossen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bagarmossen booed when Rockneby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Kielstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Verner Fristedt came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Bagarmossen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Verner Fristedt couldn't finish the play.
