Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 50) Bengt-Rune Thedin made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Åryd's Andreas Lindqvist got a free kick in the 5th minute. Vidar Vikström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nils Västlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Brodin having to interfere. Sven Brodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Ingvall in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Thedin in the 16th minute of play forced Mechanic Eye's goalkeeper Einar Willig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Rune Thedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Willig having to interfere. Bertil Söderqwist took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Brodin. Sven Brodin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bengt-Rune Thedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Willig having to interfere. The supporters of Åryd booed when Mechanic Eye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Willig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Einar Willig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristoffer Alfors in the 30th minute. Einar Willig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Thedin in the 38th minute of the match. Jan-Ove Ingvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sven Brodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Rune Thedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Willig having to interfere. After the first half Mechanic Eye were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Söderqwist in the 52nd minute of play forced Åryd's goalkeeper Sven Brodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mechanic Eye's Einar Willig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Alfors in the 55th minute of play. Bengt-Rune Thedin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Einar Willig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Einar Willig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Thedin in the 60th minute of the match. Conny Lundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Kristoffer Alfors made a precise shot to the right of Einar Willig. Mechanic Eye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 79 minutes, Andréas Hellström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mechanic Eye and the Åryd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Mechanic Eye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andréas Hellström to maneuver through the defense. Kristoffer Alfors scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Einar Willig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Ove Ingvall got free with Sven Brodin in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bengt-Rune Thedin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Einar Willig having to make a save. Einar Willig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Thedin in the 93rd minute of the match.
