Bo-Erik Granström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Söderström in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Johanneshov BF getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Magnus Rosen hit a great ball. Patrik Blomquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bo-Erik Granström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrik Blomquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bo-Erik Granström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Blomquist in the 16th minute of the match. Patrik Blomquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo-Erik Granström having to interfere. Patrik Hagström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Edvard Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Johanneshov BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Danielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvar Vall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 minutes, Paul Åman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smygehamn FF and the Johanneshov BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Smygehamn FF's zone, Patrik Hagström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Vall came out of the goal and Patrik Hagström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bo-Erik Granström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Blomquist in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Smygehamn FF's goalkeeper Alvar Vall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Johanneshov BF's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Blomquist came free, but Bo-Erik Granström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonny Melberg charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonny Melberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonny Melberg hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Alvar Vall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Hagström in the 40th minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Patrik Blomquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Johanneshov BF's Bo-Erik Granström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Patrik Blomquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st minute, Smygehamn FF's Patrik Blomquist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Patrik Blomquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvar Vall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Hagström, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Jonny Melberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. After 61 played minutes Smygehamn FF got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Melberg. Patrik Hagström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Alvar Vall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Hagström in the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Johanneshov BF's goalkeeper Bo-Erik Granström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrik Blomquist. In the 85th minute Edvard Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo-Erik Granström came out of the goal and Verner Ström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Smygehamn FF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
