An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Springfält in the 5th minute of play forced Tåbira IK's goalkeeper Markus Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Viklund's late challenge caught a Tåbira IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Viklund helped the player get up and apologised. When Magnus Malmberg came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Tåbira IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magnus Malmberg couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, Järnforsen's goalkeeper Håkan Kjellqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magnus Malmberg. Tåbira IK's Kim Lövkvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leif Finman in the 13 minute of the game. If Roy Bruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Bruse did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Håkan Kjellqvist 18 minutes into the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Roy Bruse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Järnforsen's Håkan Kjellqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magnus Malmberg got free with Håkan Kjellqvist in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Markus Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Järnforsen's Håkan Kjellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Bruse in the 28th minute of play. The Tåbira IK fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Tåbira IK's Magnus Malmberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 36th minute of the match, Magnus Malmberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Håkan Kjellqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Bruse in the 46th minute of play forced Järnforsen's goalkeeper Håkan Kjellqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Magnus Malmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Roy Bruse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tåbira IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 71st minute, Magnus Malmberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Håkan Kjellqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. A collision led to Järnforsen getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sven Lindström hit a great ball. Tåbira IK's Markus Björklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Tåbira IK from getting a goal against them. Roy Bruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Håkan Kjellqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Tåbira IK's Markus Björklund got control of the ball when Timmy Springfält tried to sneak it across the goal line. Håkan Kjellqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magnus Malmberg went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Markus Björklund made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Timmy Springfält sent off a good shot on target. Tåbira IK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
