The audience was convinced that Ola Galle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magne Häger was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. With a little luck, Ödskölt FK's Magne Häger got control of the ball when Börge Hybbert tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Rydsgård RK's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Björkkvist came free, but Fredric Dahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Ola Galle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Häger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Smefeldt during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rydsgård RK booed when Ödskölt FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Smefeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Börge Hybbert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magne Häger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Alexander Björkkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rydsgård RK's Fredric Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Månsson in the 31st minute of play. Ola Galle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Magne Häger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ola Galle charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ola Galle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Ola Galle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th match minute, Ödskölt FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Galle in the 48th minute of play forced Ödskölt FK's goalkeeper Magne Häger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ola Galle made a kick off. In the 62nd minute Börge Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Häger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ödskölt FK's Magne Häger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Galle in the 63rd minute of play. Fredric Dahlberg was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Alexander Björkkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexander Björkkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Ola Galle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magne Häger having to make a save. If Ola Galle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Björkkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Börge Hybbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rydsgård RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börge Hybbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexander Björkkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Dahlberg having to interfere. Mikael Månsson struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Fredric Dahlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ödskölt FK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börge Hybbert in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Häger saved Ödskölt FK from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ödskölt FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rydsgård RK.
