In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peace & Love FC's goalkeeper David Westerberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Westerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esbjörn Norberg charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esbjörn Norberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ernst Markusson, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Henry Asserlindh struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Sture Alebeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peace & Love FC. In the 64th minute, Bromma Gladiators's Tobias Esbjörnsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Westerberg. David Westerberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. When Tobias Esbjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Bromma Gladiators fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Esbjörnsson couldn't finish the play. Esbjörn Norberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. David Westerberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Esbjörnsson's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Henry Asserlindh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bromma Gladiators's Sture Alebeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Linberg in the 93rd minute of play. August Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bromma Gladiators's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
