Sture Alebeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Grönlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Sture Alebeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Stenquist in the 13th minute of play. Pelle Wennerquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Alebeck having to interfere. Sture Alebeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Grönlund in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bromma Gladiators's Tomas Hedberg got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 35th minute, Arne Wikander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Stenquist in the 44th minute of play forced Bromma Gladiators's goalkeeper Sture Alebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Tobias Esbjörnsson made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bromma Gladiators's zone, Dan Rosen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Alebeck came out of the goal and Dan Rosen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Klintæus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sture Alebeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malmö FF's Dan Rosen got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Malmö FF fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Malmö FF's Jesper Stenquist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jesper Stenquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jesper Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sture Alebeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaf Grönlund in the 90th minute. Jesper Stenquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Alebeck having to interfere. When the match was over Malmö FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bromma Gladiators throughout the match.
