After a defensive mix-up in Västerhaninge IF's zone, Eddie Nordlander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Söderström came out of the goal and Eddie Nordlander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Helga Flour FF's Dan Valström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Helga Flour FF from getting a goal against them. Dan Valström came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Västerhaninge IF's Linus Melberg. But to his dismay, Linus Melberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tony Hellsing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Valström having to interfere. Västerhaninge IF's Aron Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Eklund in the 31st minute of play. Helga Flour FF's Dan Valström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Albohm in the 34th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Leif Carlsson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dan Valström to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Helga Flour FF booed when Västerhaninge IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Hellsing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Nordlander in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eddie Nordlander was the one to do the kick off. Dan Valström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Albohm, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Sven-Erik Albohm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Valström was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Eddie Nordlander hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Erik Albohm in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Valström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Västerhaninge IF's Conny Vidman got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Västerhaninge IF's Aron Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Mogren in the 76th minute of play. If Tony Hellsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Albohm in the 81st minute of play forced Helga Flour FF's goalkeeper Dan Valström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Hellsing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dan Valström having to make a save. Leif Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Valström having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Tony Hellsing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Västerhaninge IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Hellsing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Västerhaninge IF fully deserved thier win.
