In the 15th minute Algot Rang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Tunström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Benett in the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jack Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sthlm420's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Lindholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Tunström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the game, Sivert Benett recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Börje Tunström. Sivert Benett showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Sivert Benett came free, but Börje Tunström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Björn Wahlström made a kick off. Sivert Benett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sivert Benett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Tunström having to interfere. When Björn Wahlström came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the IFK Göteborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Wahlström couldn't finish the play. If Algot Rang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Wahlström in the 65th minute of play forced Sthlm420's goalkeeper Aron Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Jack Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Tunström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. IFK Göteborg's Börje Tunström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sivert Benett in the 90th minute of play. Bo Lilja hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Sivert Benett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Tunström having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the IFK Göteborg players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sthlm420.
