In the 18th minute, Oliver Qvalfeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herbert Bergström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Börje Tunström having to make a save. In the 22nd minute, Bo Lilja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, IFK Göteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Lilja to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Herbert Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Tunström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Herbert Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Qvalfeldt in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börje Tunström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of IFK Göteborg booed when Frändefors BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Wennerqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Herbert Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Börje Tunström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Erik Wennerqvist in the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Frändefors BK's Filip Sjöberg got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Algot Rang managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Göteborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Algot Rang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christopher Damm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Björn Wahlström made the kick off in the second half. When Oliver Qvalfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Frändefors BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Qvalfeldt couldn't finish the play. Börje Tunström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Qvalfeldt in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Frändefors BK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lars-Erik Wennerqvist hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Robin Nordström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Börje Tunström. Christopher Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Rang in the 93rd minute of the match. Oliver Qvalfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Börje Tunström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The IFK Göteborg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Frändefors BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
