A collision led to Västerhaninge IF getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Conny Vidman hit a great ball. Marc Pilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Carlsson in the 4th minute of the match. Karl-Magnus Jonasson took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Söderström. Aron Söderström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Gustav Markusson fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ekshärad BF's protests and gave Gustav Markusson a yellow card for diving instead. Conny Vidman might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marc Pilberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conny Vidman ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Erik Albohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Pilberg having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Linus Melberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Marc Pilberg to make any attempt to save it. Aron Söderström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Algren's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Sven-Erik Albohm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marc Pilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Tommy Karlstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ekshärad BF's Vilhelm Hake got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Ekshärad BF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leif Carlsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sven-Erik Albohm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 42 in the game by Sven-Erik Albohm from a close distance when the talented Marc Pilberg managed to make a qualified save. Ekshärad BF's players were relieved. Marc Pilberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Erik Albohm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Karl-Magnus Jonasson made the kick off in the second half. Tony Hellsing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Linus Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Pilberg having to interfere. Vilhelm Hake's late challenge caught a Västerhaninge IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilhelm Hake helped the player get up and apologised. Vilhelm Hake kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Västerhaninge IF's Tony Hellsing got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marc Pilberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rdth minute of the game Sven-Erik Albohm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekshärad BF's Marc Pilberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Ekshärad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Hellsing came free, but Marc Pilberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Erik Albohm might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marc Pilberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Erik Albohm ran back to his position shaking his head. Västerhaninge IF's Tony Hellsing got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Tony Hellsing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Västerhaninge IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Aron Söderström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Stenkvist in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Västerhaninge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Magnus Jonasson came free, but Aron Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Västerhaninge IF's Linus Melberg got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Linus Melberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marc Pilberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 95th minute, Leif Carlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marc Pilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Melberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Tony Hellsing struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Marc Pilberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västerhaninge IF.
