Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hammenhög's Holger Åström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The attack was good, but when Allan Forss in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Hammenhög's Carl Ström got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torslanda's Allan Forss got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pål Wiklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 20 minutes into the match, Hammenhög's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Wiklund came free, but Herman Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hammenhög's goalkeeper Herman Wallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pål Wiklund in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herman Wallin saved Hammenhög from getting behind. In the 26th match minute, Hammenhög was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Hägert to maneuver through the defense. Torslanda's Allan Forss got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pål Wiklund to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Hammenhög was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Ahlfors to maneuver through the defense. Allan Forss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carl Ström struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jens-Ove Söderlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammenhög. Viktor Klack's late challenge caught a Hammenhög's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Klack helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Torslanda's Viktor Klack got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 64 minutes, Herman Stenström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torslanda and the Hammenhög players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Torslanda getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Herman Stenström hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Hammenhög were awarded a corner. Karl-Axel Vacker went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Holger Åström during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Torslanda booed when Hammenhög was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Algren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herman Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Wiklund in the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Hammenhög got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Hägert. Holger Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Söderlund having to interfere. Carl Ström might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens-Ove Söderlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carl Ström ran back to his position shaking his head. Torslanda's Jens-Ove Söderlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Torslanda from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Hammenhög's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Forss came free, but Herman Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herman Wallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pål Wiklund's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Holger Åström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jens-Ove Söderlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holger Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holger Åström might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens-Ove Söderlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Holger Åström ran back to his position shaking his head. After 97 played minutes Torslanda got a freekick which was hit by Herman Stenström. Jens-Ove Söderlund acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 98th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Karl-Axel Vacker. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hammenhög players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Torslanda.
