Real Maskin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Åke Apelquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute, Torsten Lundqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torsten Lundqvist hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Urban Säfström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roger Hult received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Stig-Åke Dalgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Real Maskin's Nils-Åke Apelquist in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berghem's goalie prevented a goal. Mark Lövskog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urban Säfström in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes of play Real Maskin's Torsten Lundqvist was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Real Maskin getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Torsten Lundqvist hit a great ball. Berghem's Peter Grelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 31 in the game by Peter Grelsson from a close distance when the talented Mark Lövskog managed to make a qualified save. Real Maskin's players were relieved. Urban Säfström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Grelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mark Lövskog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peter Grelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Maskin's Sven-Edvin Matsson got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils-Åke Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Dalgren having to interfere. If Konrad Alén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Berghem's Urban Säfström in the 46th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Mark Lövskog was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Real Maskin through an amazing save. Real Maskin's Nils-Åke Apelquist got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Åke Apelquist to make the kick off. Urban Säfström took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mark Lövskog. Mark Lövskog dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Axel Ersman charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Ersman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute Urban Säfström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Lövskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Peter Grelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 77th minute Peter Grelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Lövskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berghem's Urban Säfström got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Maskin's Mark Lövskog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Säfström in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Real Maskin's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Säfström came free, but Mark Lövskog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Axel Ersman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils-Åke Apelquist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Stig-Åke Dalgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nils-Åke Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Dalgren having to interfere.
