Spectators: 7321 (Terracing: 5492, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) Hagfors's Viktor Sigman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Viktor Sigman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Hagfors's Per-Arne Nordlund got control of the ball when Peter Grelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Berghem booed when Hagfors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Nässén didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hagfors getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Viktor Wallander hit a great ball. With a little luck, Hagfors's Per-Arne Nordlund got control of the ball when Peter Grelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Berghem's Tim Thidén got a free kick in the 17th minute. Magnus Hylander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Berghem defense, Viktor Sigman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig-Åke Dalgren. The Berghem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig-Åke Dalgren should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Magnus Hylander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig-Åke Dalgren. Berghem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magnus Hylander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Berghem booed when Hagfors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Högman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Åke Dalgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magnus Hylander went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Gustav Hedkvist put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Hagfors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Berghem:s goal. In the 42nd minute of the game, Berghem got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Peter Grelsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Berghem's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Urban Säfström made a kick off. Stig-Åke Dalgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magnus Hylander in the 53rd minute. Per-Arne Nordlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Grelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Urban Säfström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Nordlund having to interfere. Rune Almqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Almqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Per-Arne Nordlund came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Berghem's Peter Grelsson. But to his dismay, Peter Grelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Stig-Åke Dalgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magnus Hylander in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, one of Berghem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Berghem. Magnus Hylander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 79 minutes, Viktor Wallander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hagfors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktor Wallander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 played minutes Berghem got a freekick which was hit by Billy Jönsson. After a defensive mix-up in Berghem's zone, Magnus Hylander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Åke Dalgren came out of the goal and Magnus Hylander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Magnus Hylander got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Magnus Hylander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Dalgren having to interfere. Eric Högman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Stig-Åke Dalgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elliot Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Berghem's zone, Eric Högman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Åke Dalgren came out of the goal and Eric Högman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hagfors played a much better game than Berghem and deserved their victory. The Berghem players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
