Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bengt-Rune Hjortsberg kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Lukas Låsberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Löberöd IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljungby IK the free kick. Lukas Låsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Georg Vallgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Erik Hellström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sören Kjellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Torbjörn Bank came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Ljungby IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torbjörn Bank couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Löberöd IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Tobias Sander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Hjortsberg in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Bengt-Rune Hjortsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Sander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Sander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Åke Hellqvist in the 36th minute. Sören Kjellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jan-Erik Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Sundin in the 44th minute of play forced Ljungby IK's goalkeeper Tobias Sander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Löberöd IK booed when Ljungby IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Hamberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sören Kjellqvist was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungby IK's zone, Per-Åke Hellqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Sander came out of the goal and Per-Åke Hellqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Sander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Hellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sören Kjellqvist did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Jan-Erik Hellström 59 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Ljungby IK got a penalty, and Georg Vallgren placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Hjortsberg in the 72nd minute of play forced Ljungby IK's goalkeeper Tobias Sander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pål Hägg kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Sören Kjellqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Erik Hellström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Löberöd IK's goal looked a bit too open when Sören Kjellqvist came free, but Jan-Erik Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Sander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Hjortsberg in the 94th minute of play. Per-Åke Hellqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
