Pålsboda IK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gert Viberg 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After 35 minutes, Wiktor Hammarbäck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stehag and the Pålsboda IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stehag's Wiktor Hammarbäck got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Kristoffer Ekenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pålsboda IK's Patrick Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Viberg in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Erik Moberg to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Pålsboda IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Palmkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Jens-Erik Moberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Tholsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Gert Viberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 69 minutes into the game, Rolf Skarkman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stehag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pålsboda IK the free kick. A collision led to Stehag getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Rolf Skarkman hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Magnus Palmkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Tholsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pål Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Wästerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Viberg in the 79th minute of the match. Börje Mårtensson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match Henrik Lundgren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Tholsson skillfully saved the ball. Stehag's Claes Tholsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Stehag from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stehag fully deserved thier win.
