An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Sjögren in the 22nd minute of play forced Risbäck's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Biörnberg during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Knohult IF booed when Risbäck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Biörnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joacim Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Malmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johannes Malmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Johannes Malmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Risbäck's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Malmgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joacim Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tobias Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Sjögren hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Bernt Kjellman made the kick off in the second half. Villiam Stålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute.
