Sören Rosin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ingmar Ekberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 14 played minutes Jämshög got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Backlund. Ingmar Ekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Ahlström in the 19th minute of play. Elliot Backlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bernt Ahlström came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Jämshög fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Ahlström couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludvig Vikström during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernt Ahlström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernt Ahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Ekberg having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esbjörn Wennerström in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Ekelund saved Jämshög from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Esbjörn Wennerström put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Patrik Ekelund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Ahlström in the 88th minute of play forced Skälby IK's goalkeeper Ingmar Ekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Bernt Ahlström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jämshög's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Ahlström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingmar Ekberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Many of Jämshög's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Jämshög may have spent more time on the ball, but Skälby IK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
