Östen Kämpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Bäcklin in the 6th minute of the match. If Elliot Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Elliot Holmberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Josef Örnberg, passed just outside the right post. 19 minutes into the match, Vittinge IK's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Åberg came free, but Östen Kämpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredrik Östman might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josef Örnberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Östman ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Kvibille BK booed when Vittinge IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Östman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Östman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Örnberg having to interfere. Vittinge IK's Fredrik Östman got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elliot Holmberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Vittinge IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kvibille BK's zone, Elliot Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Örnberg came out of the goal and Elliot Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andy Åberg to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Andy Åberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kvibille BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vittinge IK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kvibille BK's Andy Åberg got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Josef Örnberg came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Vittinge IK's Fredrik Östman. But to his dismay, Fredrik Östman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Elliot Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Vittinge IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliot Holmberg couldn't finish the play. Josef Örnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Östman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fredrik Östman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fredrik Östman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josef Örnberg was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Elliot Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Örnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Östen Kämpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Åberg in the 71st minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Vittinge IK's goalkeeper Östen Kämpe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Bäcklin. In the 79th minute, Ragnar Törnkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birger Bäcklin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Kämpe having to interfere. Östen Kämpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Andy Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Östman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vittinge IK had played much better football throughout.
