After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jan-Åke Bergren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Värmbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Åke Bergren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfred Winström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Elof Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Värmbol's Jan-Åke Bergren in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IFK Södra Guldheden's goalie prevented a goal. Marcus Wennerqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Marcinho Cruz made a huge save. Manfred Winström came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Värmbol's Manfred Samuelsson. But to his dismay, Manfred Samuelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. IFK Södra Guldheden's Manfred Winström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Samuelsson in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Eddie Vidman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Södra Guldheden and the Värmbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for IFK Södra Guldheden! An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Bolander in the 26th minute of play forced IFK Södra Guldheden's goalkeeper Manfred Winström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Jan-Åke Bergren made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. IFK Södra Guldheden's Manfred Winström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Forssberg in the 34th minute of play forced IFK Södra Guldheden's goalkeeper Manfred Winström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfred Winström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Bolander in the 38th minute of the match. Jan-Åke Bergren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Manfred Winström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. IFK Södra Guldheden's Manfred Winström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Bergren in the 46th minute of play. Manfred Winström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Andersson in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Åke Bergren made a kick off. Värmbol's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elof Andersson in the 52nd minute. Manfred Winström came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Värmbol's Jan-Åke Bergren. But to his dismay, Jan-Åke Bergren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Manfred Winström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Åke Bergren, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, IFK Södra Guldheden's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Bergren came free, but Manfred Winström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Elof Andersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Värmbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Elof Andersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfred Winström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Manfred Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Winström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Åke Bergren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Per-Oskar Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Värmbol made a substitution. Jörgen Håkansson replaced Henrik Sjö. Per-Oskar Sandström kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Paul Bolander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes IFK Södra Guldheden got a freekick which was hit by Rune Brask. Värmbol's Paul Bolander got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-6 became the score in the 82nd minute when Jan-Åke Bergren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Henry Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Winström having to interfere. Erik Söderman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Manfred Winström made a huge save. When the match was over Värmbol could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than IFK Södra Guldheden throughout the match.
