After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Marcus Olsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kampala Kids's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Olsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ture Öman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lukas Pil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ture Öman having to make a save. Ture Öman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16thth minute of the game Max Björkkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kampala Kids's Fritz Gustavsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fritz Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Björkkvist in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Marcus Olsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kampala Kids's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Olsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fritz Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Strömbom in the 26th minute of the match. Ture Öman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Olsson in the 30th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Dennis Strömbom notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kampala Kids's Fritz Gustavsson. Fritz Gustavsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the game, Garsås's Dennis Strömbom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fritz Gustavsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Kampala Kids's Fritz Gustavsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Björkkvist in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Marcus Olsson made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Strömbom in the 52nd minute of play forced Kampala Kids's goalkeeper Fritz Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes, Kjell Ahlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garsås and the Kampala Kids players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kjell Ahlin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Marcus Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Garsås defense, Lukas Pil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ture Öman. The Garsås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ture Öman should have stopped the shot. If Marcus Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Björkkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fritz Gustavsson having to make a save. With his leg Fritz Gustavsson managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Garsås's Max Björkkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Marcus Olsson fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kampala Kids's protests and gave Marcus Olsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Marcus Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Marcus Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ture Öman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Kampala Kids's goalkeeper Fritz Gustavsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Björkkvist. Dennis Strömbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fritz Gustavsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Karl-Magnus Åberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kampala Kids's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garsås the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Kampala Kids was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Åberg to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Dennis Strömbom took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Fritz Gustavsson to make any attempt to save it.
