Andréas Nordal hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. If Per-Åke Björkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Ramsjö BF's Gösta Åhman got a free kick in the 7th minute. Per-Åke Björkman, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 9th minute, Elof Falkrans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Tingberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Elof Falkrans struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Patrik Tingberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramsjö BF. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Bengt Johansson put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anders Wiberg. Karl-Michael Albom kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Patrik Tingberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Stolpe in the 35th minute of the match. Per-Åke Björkman hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Andréas Nordal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Bengt Johansson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Lansjärv IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt Johansson couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute Åke Stolpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Tingberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Holm to strike the kick off in the second half. Kurt Holm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Anders Wiberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Kurt Holm rounded Ramsjö BF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Bengt Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Anders Wiberg made a huge save. One of Lansjärv IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ramsjö BF:s goal. Anders Wiberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Holm in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 minutes, Gösta Åhman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ramsjö BF and the Lansjärv IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card.
