Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gert Friberger got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Bispgården IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Bruse to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Emil Bergdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Ove Arenius having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Linus Mager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 minutes, Robert Västerstrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bispgården IF and the Gimo BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Bispgården IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Västerstrand to maneuver through the defense. Valter Beckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Friberger in the 15th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Bispgården IF got a freekick which was hit by Gert Friberger. A collision led to Gimo BK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Reine Edström hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Kent Blom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Ove Arenius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gimo BK's Valter Beckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Friberger in the 28th minute of play. Gert Friberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Valter Beckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bispgården IF's Karl Bank got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Linus Mager hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Emil Bergdal was the one to do the kick off. If Kent Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bispgården IF's Linus Mager suffered a concussion in the 61st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 62 played minutes Gimo BK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Erik Lind. Nils-Emil Bergdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sven-Ove Arenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kent Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Västerstrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Valter Beckström made a huge save. Ola Ek charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ola Ek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pelle Tidéksson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Gimo BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
