Tommy Rosén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Per Bäckström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Gustav Apelqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes F.C Beckomberga 168 got a freekick which was hit by Sten Wassenius. In the 40th minute, Sven-Erik Mickelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, YOOF United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Ahlfors to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Rosén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Källberg in the 45th minute of play. The YOOF United FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C Beckomberga 168 were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Erik Mickelsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Holger Strandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Mickelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 65 minutes into the match, F.C Beckomberga 168's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Mickelsson came free, but Holger Strandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Rosén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Källberg in the 69th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerry Ambjörnsson during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute Svante Källberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Rosén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Asmundsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Holger Strandberg having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, F.C Beckomberga 168's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Mickelsson came free, but Holger Strandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in YOOF United FC's zone, Per Bäckström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Rosén came out of the goal and Per Bäckström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
