After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sven Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ärla BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven Löfgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchior Dick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Melchior Dick successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Osvald Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Pettersson in the 19th minute of play. Jonatan Ström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Osvald Lundström. Ärla BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Osvald Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Pettersson in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Måns Vestberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chicken Noodle Hoop and the Ärla BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Stellan Pettersson made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ärla BK's zone, Stellan Pettersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvald Lundström came out of the goal and Stellan Pettersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melchior Dick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Mogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Thomas Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchior Dick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melchior Dick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Mogren in the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chicken Noodle Hoop's zone, Thomas Olsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchior Dick came out of the goal and Thomas Olsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ärla BK's Sven Löfgren got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes, Chicken Noodle Hoop's Måns Vestberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvald Lundström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chicken Noodle Hoop reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stellan Pettersson during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Stellan Pettersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
