When Arne Wahlnäs came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ljungbyholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Wahlnäs couldn't finish the play. In the 40th match minute, Ljungsbro RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. Ljungsbro RK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven-Ove Göransson in the 46th minute. The corner led Ljungsbro RK's Sven-Ove Göransson to fire away a dangerous shot which Anthon Österlund despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Georg Bivall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Georg Bivall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ljungbyholm's Anthon Österlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Allan Enströms short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Anthon Österlund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Nils Colin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Mattsson's late challenge caught a Ljungbyholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Mattsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ljungsbro RK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Daniel Mattsson hit a great ball. Tim Grönlund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonatan Åkesson. Ljungsbro RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Folke Nordmark struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jonatan Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljungbyholm. Anthon Österlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Daniel Mattsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. Ljungsbro RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ljungbyholm the free kick. Joachim Pil got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 95 played minutes Ljungbyholm got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Pil. 98 minutes into the match, Ljungsbro RK's Allan Enström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anthon Österlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ljungsbro RK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
