The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Torsåker:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ljungbyholm:s goal. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Ljungbyholm's Arne Wahlnäs got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Uno Hallgren. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Torsåker's Henric Blom pulled a muscle in his leg after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudolf Tinglöv during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Torsåker made a substitution. Karl-Johan Göransson replaced Henric Blom. Torsåker's freekick was in a very dangerous position and Lars Fastesson used this in the best possible way by corkscrewing a shot in 3-1 behind the goalkeeper. If Björn Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthon Österlund was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Gustaf Apelqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustaf Apelqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 64th minute, Gustaf Apelqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torsåker fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Gustaf Apelqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Österlund having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Torsåker's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Nordmark came free, but Uno Hallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthon Österlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Göransson in the 75th minute of play. Kim Tillman kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Arne Wahlnäs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljungbyholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Arne Wahlnäs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uno Hallgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anthon Österlund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Björn Nordström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 83 minute of play. If Gustaf Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Björn Nordström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Torsåker had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
