Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Peter Apelquist made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute of the match Lars Wiman shot from a long distance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Apelquist in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Villiam Blom saved FC DonKingen from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Tönnberg in the 15th minute of play forced FC DonKingen's goalkeeper Villiam Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Apelquist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Villiam Blom having to make a save. Peter Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villiam Blom having to interfere. Peter Apelquist's late challenge caught a FC DonKingen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Apelquist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Södertälje SK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Peter Apelquist hit a great ball. Nils-Åke Pettersson came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tony Paulin could save by the left post. Villiam Blom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Apelquist's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute Charlie Wennerqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Tönnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villiam Blom having to interfere. Alf Nordström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Villiam Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Tony Paulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Wennerqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charlie Wennerqvist to make the kick off. Jan-Erik Ingemarsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Osvald Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villiam Blom having to interfere. Villiam Blom made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Bernt Tönnberg sent off a good shot on target. Nils-Åke Pettersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Paulin having to make a save. Villiam Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Åke Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Paulin having to interfere. After some careless play in the Södertälje SK defense, Nils-Åke Pettersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Paulin. The Södertälje SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Paulin should have stopped the shot. The attack was good, but when Peter Apelquist in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 77 played minutes FC DonKingen got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Stenman. 81 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Södertälje SK's Bernt Tönnberg fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With his leg Villiam Blom managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Södertälje SK's Bernt Tönnberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 92 in the game by Bernt Tönnberg from a close distance when the talented Villiam Blom managed to make a qualified save. FC DonKingen's players were relieved. Södertälje SK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
