Spectators: 6686 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adam Boklund kicked off to start the match. Herman Tönnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Ronneby BK's Kennet Bogren got a free kick in the 9th minute. Georg Tunström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Boklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, Algot Pihlwall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ronneby BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smålandsstenar the free kick. In the 14th minute, Algot Pihlwall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Algot Pihlwall got his second yellow card in the match during the 18th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Smålandsstenar booed when Ronneby BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Pihlwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Herman Tönnberg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lars Forsell. Håkan Magnusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Forsell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Håkan Magnusson ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 30 minutes, Herman Tönnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ronneby BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herman Tönnberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Smålandsstenar defense, Herman Tönnberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars Forsell. The Smålandsstenar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars Forsell should have stopped the shot. Herman Tönnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Smålandsstenar's zone, Herman Tönnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Forsell came out of the goal and Herman Tönnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Håkan Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Herman Tönnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ronneby BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Herman Tönnberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Forsell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adam Boklund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Georg Tunström came out and tried to block the shot, but Adam Boklund slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 46th minute. After the first half Ronneby BK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herman Tönnberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, Smålandsstenar's Christer Drewitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Georg Tunström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Smålandsstenar reached it. In the 53rd match minute, Ronneby BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Pilgren to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes, Smålandsstenar's Christer Drewitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Georg Tunström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Herman Tönnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Lars Forsell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Drewitz charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christer Drewitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Tönnberg in the 91st minute of play forced Smålandsstenar's goalkeeper Lars Forsell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Stor hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Tony Lustig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronneby BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
