Alf Rosendahl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Gerdberg in the 14th minute. After 18 played minutes, Skåpafors FF's Per-Erik Tingelholm shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eric Månsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skåpafors FF reached it. Alf Rosendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niclas Alstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Hellgren charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Winström in the 29th minute of play forced Lönsboda BF's goalkeeper Eric Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Skåpafors FF's Alf Rosendahl got control of the ball when Stig Gerdberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niclas Alstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Rosendahl having to interfere. Lönsboda BF's Eric Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Winström in the 38th minute of play. Per-Oskar Winström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eric Månsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Per-Oskar Winström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niclas Alstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. Eric Månsson was a little too slow when Allan Nyström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-1. Adrian Samuelsson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Eric Månsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Nyström in the 63rd minute. Niclas Alstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 73 minutes of play, Lönsboda BF's Stig Gerdberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alf Rosendahl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Allan Nyström charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Nyström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Allan Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Niclas Alstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute Niclas Alstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Rosendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
