If Stig Gerdberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Erik Fågel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lönsboda BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Fågel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalle Bergman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henry Samuelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Eric Månsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Samuelsson in the 55th minute of play. Knut Söderman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Månsson having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niclas Alstedt in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The tension between the Lönsboda BF and the Hjältevad IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Lönsboda BF got a freekick which was hit by Erik Fågel. After 68 played minutes, Hjältevad IFK's Patrik Hafström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eric Månsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hjältevad IFK reached it. In the 69th minute Henry Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Månsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hjältevad IFK's zone, Stig Gerdberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalle Bergman came out of the goal and Stig Gerdberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 minutes, Vincent Hellgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lönsboda BF and the Hjältevad IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Vincent Hellgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hjältevad IFK's goalkeeper Kalle Bergman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lönsboda BF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
