In the 19th minute of the match, Jim Kråk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cecilio Morera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joacim Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Walter Dalman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Einar Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Einar Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Såtenäs's Einar Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Dalman in the 32nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Walter Dalman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Einar Blomqvist was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Mårten Ekelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Jim Kråk made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Walter Dalman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sparreholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Dalman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Einar Blomqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Såtenäs's Bo-Erik Bäck got a free kick in the 61st minute. Einar Blomqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 91st minute, Bo-Erik Bäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walter Dalman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
