Spectators: 7283 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Valter Skark took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Inge Asklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bo Strömberg was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Robin Eklund's late challenge caught a Bredared's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Eklund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Bredared was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Lund to maneuver through the defense. When Norrköping Boys's Valter Skark in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bredared's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute, one of Bredared:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bredared. Robin Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Carl Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inge Asklund took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bo Strömberg. Bo Strömberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tor Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Grep having to interfere. If Bengt Blixt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Jakobsson struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Bo Strömberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bredared. Bredared's Martin Jakobsson suffered a concussion in the 43rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sture Bokelund during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Norrköping Boys fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Bredared. Rasmus Ahlrot stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bo Strömberg. 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inge Asklund was the one to do the kick off. If Tor Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Eklund was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Norrköping Boys getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Robin Eklund hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Inge Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bredared's supporters rose to their feet, but Inge Asklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo Strömberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt Blixt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bo Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Asklund in the 58th minute of play. When Rasmus Ahlrot fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bredared's protests and gave Rasmus Ahlrot a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Bredared got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Ahlrot. After 63 played minutes Bredared got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Blixt. When Bengt Blixt fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bredared's protests and gave Bengt Blixt a yellow card for diving instead. 65 minutes into the game, one of Bredared:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Asklund in the 72nd minute of play forced Norrköping Boys's goalkeeper Bo Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Valter Skark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norrköping Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Valter Skark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Grep breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 minutes, Malcolm Lund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bredared and the Norrköping Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carl Grep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Inge Asklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bo Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Bengt Blixt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bo Strömberg. The goal made the score 2-3. Norrköping Boys's Tor Lindström got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tor Lindström struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Carl Grep didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norrköping Boys. Gustav Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
