If Leonardo Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Berglund in the 14th minute of play forced Ödsmål IK's goalkeeper Bernt Ekblom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lönneberga IK booed when Ödsmål IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Ersman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes in the game Gösta Holm got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lönneberga IK's zone, Hannes Cane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Lundgren came out of the goal and Hannes Cane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Lönneberga IK defense, Leonardo Isaksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conny Lundgren. The Lönneberga IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conny Lundgren should have stopped the shot. Ödsmål IK's Bernt Ekblom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Ödsmål IK from getting a goal against them. In the 49th minute, Peder Berglund fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Isaksson was the one to do the kick off. Lönneberga IK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Hannes Cane scored to the left of an out of position Conny Lundgren, making the score, 1-2. Peder Berglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Ekblom having to interfere. In the 70th minute Leonardo Isaksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Bernt Wenerdahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ödsmål IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lönneberga IK the free kick. Bernt Wenerdahl kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Hannes Cane who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Conny Lundgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lönneberga IK's Conny Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Isaksson in the 88th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Lönneberga IK got a freekick which was hit by Mark Bocklund. Leonardo Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Conny Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hannes Cane struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Conny Lundgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ödsmål IK. Leonardo Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
