Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Per-Olof Wiklund started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Markus Groth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björneborg FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Markus Groth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Olof Wiklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gert Hultman charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert Hultman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Anakonda BK booed when Björneborg FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Hultman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Anakonda BK's Per-Olof Wiklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birger Ahlin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Per-Olof Wiklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anakonda BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Olof Wiklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Ahlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anton Hedling made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Markus Groth sent off a good shot on target. Birger Ahlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Olof Wiklund in the 20th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play Björneborg FK's Gert Hultman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 21st minute, Gert Hultman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markus Groth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anton Hedling came out and tried to block the shot, but Markus Groth slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 23rd minute. Anton Hedling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Björneborg FK's Markus Groth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Hedling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Stig-Åke Ödman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Per-Olof Wiklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birger Ahlin having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Per-Olof Wiklund put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Birger Ahlin. The audience was convinced that Per-Olof Wiklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Birger Ahlin was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After having played for 39 minutes, Dennis Erserman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anakonda BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Erserman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Olof Wiklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Birger Ahlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Björneborg FK's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Wiklund came free, but Birger Ahlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Anakonda BK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Anton Hedling came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Björneborg FK's Markus Groth. But to his dismay, Markus Groth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 56 minutes into the match, Per-Olof Wiklund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Birger Ahlin, 2-3. Per-Olof Wiklund struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Birger Ahlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anakonda BK. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Dennis Erserman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anakonda BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Erserman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Ahlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per-Olof Wiklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Birger Ahlin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per-Olof Wiklund ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Björneborg FK's Markus Groth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Hedling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anton Hedling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Groth in the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfred Ålberg in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Hedling saved Anakonda BK from getting behind.
