Oskar Täman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Koch in the 3rd minute. Lysvik RK's Oskar Täman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Arne Haglund in the 5th minute of play. Thor Björkqvist struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Börge Strömberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lysvik RK. Roy Alfors hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes Lysvik RK got a freekick which was hit by Thor Björkqvist. Carl Jönsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Thor Björkqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lysvik RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vårgårda IK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lysvik RK's Thor Björkqvist got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Marcus Koch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vårgårda IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Koch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Arne Haglund in the 30th minute of play forced Lysvik RK's goalkeeper Oskar Täman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lysvik RK's Roy Alfors got a free kick in the 30th minute. Marcus Koch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Oskar Täman made a huge save. Thor Björkqvist hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Per-Arne Haglund came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vårgårda IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Arne Haglund couldn't finish the play. When Lysvik RK's Roy Alfors in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vårgårda IK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute, Vårgårda IK's Marcus Koch dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Arne Haglund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per-Arne Haglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Täman having to interfere. Arvin Vallmark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Börge Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskar Täman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Arne Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Koch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Täman having to interfere. Niklas Ekrot kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Roy Alfors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Per-Arne Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Oskar Täman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Vårgårda IK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
