After a rather tough play, Höljes BK's Kenneth Kiempe got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 16th match minute, Katrineholm FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Grep to maneuver through the defense. Reine Kollberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Vassenius in the 17th minute of the match. Edgar Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Kleen in the 20th minute of the match. Katrineholm FK's Reine Kollberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Vassenius in the 31st minute of play. Thor Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Kollberg having to interfere. Reine Kollberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Henry Kleen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Höljes BK's Edgar Holmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mattias Vassenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th match minute, Katrineholm FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Rolandsson to maneuver through the defense. Mattias Vassenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Höljes BK's Thor Axelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Kleen to make the kick off. Edgar Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Söderström in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Höljes BK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Elias Wiman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Söderström in the 59th minute of play forced Höljes BK's goalkeeper Edgar Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes Katrineholm FK got a freekick which was hit by Emil Grep. After 68 played minutes, Höljes BK's Johan Nyberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reine Kollberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Höljes BK reached it. If Mats Kellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mattias Vassenius came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Höljes BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Vassenius couldn't finish the play. If Thor Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Katrineholm FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mattias Vassenius fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Höljes BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
