Eric Billberg hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Henry Kleen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ola Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Kleen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Hammerdal BF's Aleksander Sandberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reine Kollberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ola Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Söderström in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Kleen in the 17th minute of play forced Hammerdal BF's goalkeeper Ola Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reine Kollberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Gösta Rolandsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ola Johnsson having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ola Johnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleksander Sandberg to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Henry Kleen rounded Hammerdal BF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Brian Anselius hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Hammerdal BF's Eric Billberg got a free kick in the 65th minute. Aleksander Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Thorsberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, one of Katrineholm FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Hammerdal BF. Fred Falkrantz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Reine Kollberg. 1-1. Tobias Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Hammerdal BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Hedling to maneuver through the defense. If Alvin Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aleksander Sandberg hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Reine Kollberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reine Kollberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Hammerdal BF's Eric Billberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reine Kollberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Aleksander Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hammerdal BF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Katrineholm FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
