In the 16th minute Thor Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Dalman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Axelsson in the 19th minute of play forced Skogsgläntan Akademi's goalkeeper Edvin Dalman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Holmberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thor Axelsson couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute of the match Tomas Skålberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edvin Dalman skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mattias Vassenius made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Höljes BK's zone, Jan Blanck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Holmgren came out of the goal and Jan Blanck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvin Dalman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mattias Vassenius's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. If John Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Mats Kellbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Holmgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hannes Löfgren's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Höljes BK's Thor Axelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvin Dalman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Höljes BK got a freekick which was hit by Mats Kellbom. In the 72nd minute, John Holmberg made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Holmgren. Höljes BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Mattias Vassenius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvin Dalman was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Mattias Vassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Edvin Dalman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Håning's late challenge caught a Höljes BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Håning helped the player get up and apologised. 89 minutes into the match, Skogsgläntan Akademi's goalkeeper Edvin Dalman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thor Axelsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Mattias Vassenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höljes BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Vassenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvin Dalman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thor Axelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
