Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilhelm Olenberg started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Hjortkvarn's Tom Unesson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Sundberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johannes Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Roger Sundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Wilhelm Olenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Åberg was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Per-Olof Fastesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Hjortkvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Fastesson came free, but Jan Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Johannes Nyman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roger Sundberg. Johannes Nyman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Hjortkvarn's Petter Alströmer got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roger Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Alströmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Hjortkvarn's Tom Unesson got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Strömsund's Roger Sundberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Strömsund from getting a goal against them. Jan Åberg came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Strömsund's Per-Olof Fastesson. But to his dismay, Per-Olof Fastesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hjortkvarn's Jan Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Fastesson in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petter Alströmer was the one to do the kick off. Jan Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Olenberg in the 56th minute of the match. Per-Olof Fastesson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Jan Åberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 60th minute, Wilhelm Olenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roger Sundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Alströmer in the 62nd minute of the match. Jan Åberg made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Per-Olof Fastesson sent off a good shot on target. Tom Unesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Strömsund's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Alströmer came free, but Roger Sundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hjortkvarn's Jan Åberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Hjortkvarn from getting a goal against them. Jan Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Olenberg in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Hjortkvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Berggren to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st match minute, Hjortkvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Alkvist to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes Strömsund got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Forssberg. Wilhelm Olenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilhelm Olenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Wilhelm Olenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tom Unesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johannes Nyman's late challenge caught a Strömsund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johannes Nyman helped the player get up and apologised. Johannes Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Hjortkvarn were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
