Spectators: 7119 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bengt-Arne Gustafsson made the kick off which started today's match. Fagervik's Marcus Söderkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Ivarsson in the 4th minute of play. Jonathan Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Jonathan Sjöberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Sundberg. Strömsund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Sjöberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Olenberg in the 12th minute of play forced Fagervik's goalkeeper Marcus Söderkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Strömsund getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Emil Sundling hit a great ball. Wilhelm Olenberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Söderkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilhelm Olenberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute Per-Olof Fastesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Söderkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Strömsund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Åberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Tobias Bolander sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Strömsund's Roger Sundberg didn't even have to move. Jonathan Sjöberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Sundberg having to make a save. Niklas Forssberg's late challenge caught a Fagervik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niklas Forssberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Niklas Forssberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strömsund's goalkeeper Roger Sundberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Jonathan Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fagervik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Sjöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilhelm Olenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Söderkvist having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilhelm Olenberg to make the kick off. Fagervik's Marcus Söderkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Fagervik from getting a goal against them. Per-Olof Fastesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Marcus Söderkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Olof Fastesson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Marcus Söderkvist didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Marcus Söderkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Olenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Söderkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Olenberg in the 81st minute of the match. Jonas Östman charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Östman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Fagervik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Östman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fagervik's zone, Per-Olof Fastesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Söderkvist came out of the goal and Per-Olof Fastesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Sundberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Arne Gustafsson's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Tobias Bolander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Sundberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bengt-Arne Gustafsson scored 3-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Sundberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fagervik were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Strömsund for a fine match.
