After 4 minutes, Dan Vennerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Källby BF and the Hjortkvarn players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hjortkvarn booed when Källby BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Åberg having to interfere. Petter Alströmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute Tom Unesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Unesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Lundqvist having to interfere. Morgan Alkvist fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 23rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. After 26 played minutes Hjortkvarn got a freekick which was hit by Petter Alströmer. Edgar Ugla took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Åberg. Jan Åberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Källby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Nyman came free, but Hannes Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Åberg made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Leo Hedlund sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Hannes Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Alströmer in the 54th minute of play. Kjell Åkerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Källby BF booed when Hjortkvarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingemar Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Ugla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Leo Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johannes Nyman during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Källby BF booed when Hjortkvarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harald Rolandsson lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hjortkvarn fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Källby BF. Gert Skytt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jan Åberg. 2-0. Morgan Alkvist fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 88th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 98th minute, Leo Hedlund made a precise shot to the right of Jan Åberg. Hjortkvarn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Hjortkvarn's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Källby BF had won, even though Hjortkvarn had held more of the ball.
