The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute, Martin Beckman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Marcus Duset was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Annerstad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Östervåla FK the free kick. A collision led to Annerstad getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Marcus Duset hit a great ball. Charles Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Ahlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Annerstad's Charles Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Arne Eklund in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Östervåla FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. Robin Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin Strömberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dan Berggren. Östervåla FK's Robin Strömberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Östervåla FK from getting a goal against them. Joar Håkansson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Per-Arne Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Annerstad's Magnus Willig got a free kick in the 39th minute. Annerstad's Charles Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Beckman in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Max Häll tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robin Strömberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 45th minute, Per-Arne Eklund made a precise shot to the right of Charles Dahlbom. Annerstad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Annerstad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Östervåla FK were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Einar Ahlstedt made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Michel Kruuse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Annerstad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 56 played minutes Östervåla FK got a freekick which was hit by Evert Pettersson. In the 57th match minute, Östervåla FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joar Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. Annerstad's Marcus Duset got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Arne Eklund succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 60th playminute. Östervåla FK were furious when Evert Pettersson was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 82nd minute Michel Kruuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Beckman might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Dahlbom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
