Fritz Siggman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute of the match, Fritz Siggman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eddie Arhenius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Fritz Siggman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eddie Arhenius made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Orvar Pihlgren sent off a good shot on target. Olov Bäck's late challenge caught a Funäsdalen BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olov Bäck helped the player get up and apologised. Olov Bäck hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Funäsdalen BF's Johan Näfver broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ingemar Igelström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Per-Olof Kilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Funäsdalen BF's Per-Olof Kilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Igelström in the 29th minute of play. Edenryds IF's Eddie Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fritz Siggman in the 32nd minute of play. If Ingemar Igelström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, Funäsdalen BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Siggman to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fritz Siggman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the last second Per-Olof Kilberg throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jan-Erik Broberg in the 51stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 55 minutes into the match, Edenryds IF's Jan-Erik Broberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Olof Kilberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56th minute of the match, Ingemar Igelström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Per-Olof Kilberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Per-Olof Kilberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingemar Igelström in the 72nd minute. Erik Ingemarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Sune Myr fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edenryds IF's protests and gave Sune Myr a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Edenryds IF's Olov Bäck got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute, Allan Mårtensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Funäsdalen BF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
