Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Joensson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Funäsdalen BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hammers FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Funäsdalen BF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! Anders Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Hammers FC's Tom Melberg got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Hammers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Siggman came free, but Joseph Waller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tom Melberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, David Bruse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Bruse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 minutes, Vilhelm Biörkquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hammers FC and the Funäsdalen BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Hammers FC got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Biörkquist. Tom Melberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Per-Olof Kilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orvar Pihlgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joseph Waller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orvar Pihlgren ran back to his position shaking his head. When Funäsdalen BF's Orvar Pihlgren in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hammers FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th minute, Tom Melberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tom Melberg made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Bruse in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Olof Kilberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anders Sundström hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes in the game, Fritz Siggman dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Hammers FC's Anders Sundström got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Funäsdalen BF's zone, Tom Melberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Olof Kilberg came out of the goal and Tom Melberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Bruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Per-Olof Kilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Olof Kilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Melberg in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Tom Melberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Kilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match Viktor Vacker shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per-Olof Kilberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joseph Waller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orvar Pihlgren in the 79th minute. If Orvar Pihlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Bergman hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Orvar Pihlgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Joseph Waller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hammers FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Funäsdalen BF for a fine match.
