Spectators: 7114 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 10) Adak BF's Stefan Lundström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Jan-Erik Broberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edenryds IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Erik Broberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eddie Arhenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Arvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Henrik Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Arhenius having to interfere. In the 17th minute Stefan Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Arhenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Stefan Lundström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddie Arhenius. Edenryds IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Lundström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Henrik Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adak BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Arvidsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddie Arhenius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edenryds IF's Eddie Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Lundström in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Stefan Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Stefan Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Smedfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gösta Smedfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Broberg in the 47th minute of play forced Adak BF's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Haeger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Erik Broberg to make the kick off. Sven-Åke Haeger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingemar Igelström's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Stefan Lundström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Adak BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Rutger Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Edenryds IF booed when Adak BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gösta Smedfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Stefan Lundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adak BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edenryds IF the free kick. Stefan Kaxe hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rutger Lindgren during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Edenryds IF got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Lindgren. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Hedin got free with Eddie Arhenius in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eddie Arhenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Arvidsson in the 75th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Stefan Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Peter Olofsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddie Arhenius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Henrik Arvidsson struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Eddie Arhenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adak BF. When Henrik Arvidsson came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Adak BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Arvidsson couldn't finish the play. If Henrik Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Edenryds IF's Ingemar Igelström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Åke Haeger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adak BF played a much better game than Edenryds IF and deserved their victory. The Edenryds IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
