Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Elias Lövgren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pontus Koch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 5 played minutes, Månkarbo IF's Leif Tinglöf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ingmar Lundin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Månkarbo IF reached it. After a rather tough play, Månkarbo IF's Erland Billström got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Månkarbo IF's Pontus Koch made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingmar Lundin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peder Västerstrand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustav Vallengren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The referee ignored Flarken's protests and gave Andreas Wiberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Andreas Wiberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pontus Koch to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, David Forssell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flarken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Månkarbo IF the free kick. After 51 played minutes Flarken got a freekick which was hit by David Forssell. Ingmar Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Koch in the 54th minute of play. After 55 played minutes Flarken got a freekick which was hit by Urban Kullander. Månkarbo IF's Gustav Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Lövgren in the 59th minute of play. Gustav Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Västerstrand in the 68th minute of play. Pontus Koch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elias Lövgren scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustav Vallengren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustav Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Lövgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Walroth in the 86th minute of play forced Månkarbo IF's goalkeeper Gustav Vallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Eric Klintæus fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gustav Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Bohlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Flarken's goalkeeper Ingmar Lundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Klintæus. 2-2 came through a penalty shot after 97 played minutes, when Månkarbo IF:s Eric Klintæus calmly waited for Flarken:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
